STORY 1:

This homeowner asked Downes pool for a custom look that was created by creating tile. But it was no ordinary tile. It was a work of original art.

The art began at Downes with color drawings approved by the homeowner, then sent to Wales, England. In Wales, artists transferred the original art into clay. Thousand degree ovens and several weeks later in the Chicago area, we installed this incredible custom tile. Below is the finished look …all under water.

STORY 2:

The homeowner asked his landscape architect for an indoor and outdoor pool. The landscape professional turned to Downes Pools.

Below is the finished vanishing edge pool, blending perfectly into the architecture and the landscape. The indoor pool, also created by Downes, includes an automatic cover, for both safety and energy savings. Covered pools require less energy to heat and help control humidity in the room.
